  1. The Landlord that was in our district long ago was Sir Robert Ffrench of Monivea. This Landlord was very nice and charitable to the people in his estate and treated his tenants very nice.
He owned 3,000 acres of land and he had 1,000 acres of a domain in Monivea. He also owned a beautiful castle in Monivea. He had a big position in the Continent, and he died out in Russia some years ago and his remains were brough over to his castle.
There are also some of his descendants living in Monivea Castle yet.
