They found they were mistaken".Dolan lived to be an old man in California. A cousin to my father worked with him for a number of years out there. His name was Edward Dolan. From him I heard the story.Living relatives of Padrey Dolan are Patrick and Ellen Dolan, Druminafinnla Barr, parish of Ballinaglera, Co. Leitrim and Katie Clancy, townland of Corralubber, same parish.( I am indebted to Mr. Sylvester Maguire of Urbal Barr, Ballinaglera, Co. Leitrim for this story as well as for many other pieces of folklore in this book. Mr. Maguire is now aged 68.)
