- (continued from previous page)working about the house. He never used to speak to anybody but his servant girl whose name was "Molly Bán". This man was very queer sometimes he used to bring in loads of hay and set them on fire. He used to say he was burning the wizards out of the chimney.
There are not very many house in this townland but long ago there were houses in every field.
There was a little mudwall cabin built in a field very near the big house. An old man lived alone in this little house. His name was "Sean bog", and a few years ago when the meadow was being mowed in that field a sword was found at the(continues on next page)
