  1. Bird Lore
    We have a great many classes of birds in this country namely the robin the wren the sparrow the thrush and various other birds. We have a great many birds that stay only in Summer with us and then leaves this this country and goes to a warm climate.
    Most of the birds lay eggs from which their young ones are hatched. The cuckoo is a very lazy bird, she never builds a nest of her own but she lays an egg in another birds nest from which a young cuckoo is hatched.
    Before long the young cuckoo throws the other young birds out of the nest and takes possession of the nest
