  1. A long time ago the people used to catch birds in a bird craddle. To make a bird craddle, first get four sticks and put them down in the ground and run them through the other sticks, and tie them wit bits of strings. Then put a bit of a strick across the cradle. When the bird hops on this stick the cradle falls down and the bird is caught.
    To make a catapult get two rubbers and a forked stick. Then put the rubbers on the stick. Then cut a piece of leather and put it on to the two rubbers. Then put a stone into the rubber and catch hold of the stick
