  1. Some people look upon certain days as being unlucky and lucky. Nobody should leave an old house and go to a new one on either Wednesday Friday or Saturday. This belief is carried out because Wednesday was the day our Lord was spied on and on Friday, He was crucified and Saturday's flitting makes a short sitting.
    Monday or Thursday are the only two days in the week to get remedies for ailments. When people are planting potatoes or any thing like that they always begin to plant them on a Monday or a Thursday.
    Whit Sunday is looked upon as an unlucky day
