  1. One night two girls went to a dance. While they were away a thief went into the house. When he heard them coming he ran in under their bed. The two of them went to bed. They began to talk about the fellows they had at the dance and everything. One of them said, "Sure the man above knows all." "Doesn't the man under the bed know as much",? said the thief. One day a drunkard went into a minister's house. He asked the maid for some wine. She said that there was none in the house but if he went to Service they would be about at Communion. The man went to the Church. He walked up the middle to where the people were all waiting for their turn. He lifted the jug of wine on his head and said "Lord am I worth of it all"?
