  1. On the twenty-ninth of June St. Peter's and Paul's heads were cut off. When their heads were cut they hopped three times and where they hopped wells sprung up. There is a collection for the Pope also on these days. The first of February is Saint Brigid's feast day. On Saint Patricks day every one wears a shamrock in their coat. Saint Patrick was a great man because he brought the true faith to Ireland. On Saint Stephen's day and night the mumers go from house to house dancing. When they have danced they get money from the people. On Easter Sunday the people go to Holy Communion and when they come back they eat eggs. Hallow'een is a night all children like. There are nuts apples and other nice things to be eater on that night. There are games played also on that night.
