    cattle wander into this place and often are lost. People were let down with ropes to rescue the cattle. These people say that these entrances are like stairways and nobody ever got to he bottom of this place. It is said that a sheep was got on one of these steps by a man who was let with ropes. When he went to take the sheep away a little man appeared to him with a fur cap and a knife in his hand and said "Will this sheep be mine or yours?" The man gave the signal for the people to pull him up and he left the sheep below.
