    I. In the olden days if a child got "mumps", three nibs of hair were got from its grandmothers' head and those were tied with a red ribbon, and hung around the Childs' neck.
    II Heron's vomit which is to be found along the banks of rivers was supposed to cure a burn.
    III A child affected with "Thrush" was brought to a man who had never seen his father who was supposed to cure it by blowing into its ear.
