  1. Old Schools
    About a hundred years ago there was an old house built near the river Suck. At that time the people used not go to school. There was a very knowledgeable man named O' Rorke and he used to come to the old house to teach a class. He taught English and grammar, geography and cathechism. When the master wanted to punish anyone he used to put them on anothers scholars back and whip them.
