There are five stones on top of Murphy's hill and there are five holes in each of four stones and in the fifth there is a big hole. It is said to mark the grave of a chieftain.

There are many old walls in the parish. There is a stone in which there is a hole. It is said that Fionn knelt on it when hunting here.
To meet a stone with a hollow holding water is supposed to cure warts, by dipping the warts inot it saying uisce cloc gan iarriat nior ioir a iasnic me. - Collector
