   Corns

   Steep ivy leaves in vinegar until they become quite soft, then apply to corn. Secure on toe with a tiny bandage. Leave on for a few days - night and day. The corn can generally be removed in about three days.

   Swellings Goose grease is a very good cure for swellings. This grease is rubbed into the affected parts and generally cures. Plenty of old Irish people preserve this grease and depend more upon it than on a doctor. Mary Kenny Redmount
