Flynn's Ground; A family named Flynn's lived there long ago.
Bull-Field: There is a bull in it
Riasg: It is said there was a pot of gold found in it. - There is not as much superstition now over lucky days as there was in olden times. They say Wednesday is a lucky day to get married. Friday is a lucky day to start any kind of work. In County Wexford they start it on Monday. They say that any job started on Saturday would never be finished right. Nobody likes to harness horses or plough on May day, Whit Monday or Good Friday. They say it is not right. Any old people that are still alive in Ireland would not leave their old house to go into a new one on any day but Friday because they would be afraid that they would die.
