    Bhí bráthair mór i mBaile Clár fadó. Dubhairt sé nuair a bhfuigheadh sé féin bás go gcuirfeadh sé mála craitheanna chuig an leacht agus chuir sé ann iad. An oidhche a fuair sé bás. Bhí beirt gadaidhe caorach ag dul thart. Chonnaich siad an mála leaghtha ann. Chuaidheadar isteach agus thosuigheadhar ag briseadh na craiteanna. Bhí buachaill an t-sagairt ag dul thart an oidhche ceadna a cuireadh é. Bhí sé ag éisteacht. Rith sé abhaile go dtí an t-sean bean a bhí san teach. Dubhairt sé tá brátair mór ina shuidhe aríst ag briseadh na craitheanna.
