  1. In the years after the Famine the people in the Glen (Lismullaghduff Glen near Killygordon) were poor and they had no milk and no money to buy a cow. One morning when an old man got up and looked out in his garden he saw a cow. She gave as much milk as supplied the district. They agreed for a while but then they started to fight. One morning when the man went out the cow was away, and she was never seen after.
