  1. There is a big stone on Polyarnon mountain. James McLaughlin (55) of Tievebrack says that it was placed there by the Danes. Nobody knows what is hidden beneath this stone but it is supposed to be gold or some other valuable treasure. No one ever tried to dig up this treasure because they did not know the exact spot where it was hidden.
