    stones lying down. On one is the following inscription:-

    Here lyeth
    Body of James Finigan who departed this life on the 12 day of September in the year of Our Lord God
    Anno Domini 1692

    And also:-
    Here lyeth
    Body of Peter Finigan who departed this life the 12 day of June in the year of Our Lord God
    Anno Domini 1694
    This stone was caused to be made by Bryan Finigan for him, and his Posteritie

    In the ruins there are 8 windows altogether and most of them are wider on the inside, than on outside, holes for bars six inches apart are to be seen. All very large window sills. The small part is built of stone as if it were there St Fintan built his cell, the large part built afterwards.
