  1. There is a hill in the town-land of Gortichar called Cnoc Airgird. This is how it got its name
    Long, long ago when the anchient Irish dwelt in raths a party lived in a rath at Lismulladuff where the Storeen now remains.
    An enemy was observed coming from the east and he people in the rath decided on going away. Taking with them their goods and money.
    They went in the direction of Ballylofoy.
