“The Devil's half acre is said to be in Woodville.”

The Devil's half acre is said to be in woodville. It consists of the cottage field and the long field. The cottage field is so called because a cottage was built there. The murder field is near Rusk near Dunboyne. It is so called because about the year 1860 many people were murdered here by an insane man.
