saw all the milk on the ground, she gave a number of bellows and went off to the lake followed by her calves which she had while with the farmer.
The story was told a great many years ago that a mare came out of "Com Seagán" lake and went into adjoining farmers place. The farmer worked her for a number of years until one day he worked her very hard. He also had bad harness which made her very uncomfortable. She shook herself free from the harness she had on and made a number of times for the lake and was never seen after.
