When they reached the top of the hill the little man struck his foot three times on the ground, and a great door appeared. The little knocked at the door and an old woman came and opened it, and let them in. They went into a little room, and there was a golden table in the middle of the floor, and hundreds of old women sitting round it, and they all got up and welcomed the piper and the little man.
