    They used not put any soda in the potato cake or milk but salt and carraways.
    And a very little milk to dry it.
    Then they used knead. When they used have it kneaded they used put it out on the table and cut it in four quarters.
    They used make oat-meal cake also.
    First they used get a few hand fulls of oat meal and put sugar init.
    Then they used wet it with soft water. Then they used knead it.
    When it would be stiff enough they used put it to a flag at the fire turning it of and on.
    When it was baked they used leave it to cool a while and then they used get the milk ready and eat the oat meal cake. They used to have another kind of cake called pan cake, for a
