    enough to cover the shins and feet. In the rush round the house in the midst of the tricks, some of the tricks boys were pushed over on the end of the bed, where the corpse lay. Their weight seemed to over-balance the corpse, who raised itself almost to a sitting position. Then the screaming started. Some said it was the man coming back to life again, and they all rushed for the door. Some were trampled under foot and most of them never stopped till they got to their own homes. Most of them were exhausted.
