  1. A Fenian Song (continued)

In brossmolina we were brought up,

    (continued from previous page)
I hope that those six heroes,
Will live to strike a blow,
    In the defence of Crossmolina,
    That town in Sweet Mayo.
    V
    There is another hero,
    And Nally is his name,
    Likewise Munnelly, King, Melvin,
    Were actually the same.
    They would not turn informer,
But would suffer grief and woe,
    And they cheered for Crossmolina,
    That town in Sweet Mayo.
    VI
Cheer up you hearts my Irish boys,
For the time that is at hand,
    The British Constitution,
    We can no longer stand,
We call on all our Fenian boys,
    And those left lying low,
And we will cheer for Crossmolina,
    That town in Sweet Mayo.
