  1. It is said that in Cloona Lake which is surrounded by the townlands of Greenan, Cloona and Bunnaneraghtish, there is a dangerous spot in which people are warned not to enter into.
    As in the time gone by it was known that people had miraculous escapes, and one girl was found drowned in it. She was some unknown person.

    About sixty years ago three girls from the locality of the lake went bathing to the lake. Two of them went into the water close to the dangerous spot. The third girl stayed waiting for them.
