    black cat or perhaps a black hen. Then you have to throw the black cat at the serpent and then you can get the gold. Nobody ever made at [sic] attempt to get it. The buried treasure consists of gold. I do not know of any gold being discovered. This was a tree that was knocked above in Newtown, at Mrs O’Hora’s the gatehouse. When her son knocked the tree he found a pen-knife covered with blood. He brought it into the house and cleaned it. After he took it he could hear a cry in it. He got afraid but kept the knife.
