  1. One day a ship was leaving Ballina quay. At mid-night the night-watcher saw a large cloud coming near the boat. After a while he heard a loud noise and went and called the captain. So then they both looked round the boat, and they found a coffin. The captain said that someone should sleep in the coffin but after the captain had tried to fit each one of the crew in the coffin, no one could fit in it. As the captain was putting down the lid the coffin slid right into the sea, and the coffin was never seen again.
