Long years ago there was a ship and it was called the Ballina ship. It used to come from Liverpool to Ballina. One very stormy night before it left Liverpool there were people on the shore a crowd of rats came out of the ship and an old woman said that is a very bad sign of that ship, so the ship began its journey. It was so heavy with wheat that it hardly could go up with the waves. Another ship met it around the coast of Donegal and the captain of the other ship said if the sea got any wilder than it was, there would be no hopes of the ship.
