me back again you must be at the pig market at midnight taking with you an iron tongs. I will be riding on the third last horse. You are to hit me with the tongs and I am saved" She then disappeared.
The man was undecided whether he would carry out these instructions or not. First of all, however, he went to the grave yard, opened the grave and opened the coffin. He was surprised to find nothing in the coffin but a bundle of straw. He therefore, decided to carry out his wife's instructions.
He proceeded to the place at the appointed time, but bad luck came his way. The police were on duty and became suspicious of his movements. He explained his case to them, but they would not listen to him. They took him to the barracks and charged him with some offence.
Meanwhile, the opportunity for getting back his wife was passed and he never saw her again.
