    We had Sergeant Turly there a merry

    And also Constable Coleman of the
    Irish Constablery
    We had William Ruddy there he
    was a holy show buzy as a bee
    And likwise our jolly plasterer his name was Paddy Magee
    We had George Linsey and
    Patrick Flanagan our boss
    We had also another mason
    their called Jack Magrath from
    Ross
    Now to concluded and finish up my
    simple song
    I had to promise Michael Nallen
    I wouldn't say anything wrong
    Now the job is over and we must
    all go away
    And send a word to Flannery
    He is sure to get his pay.
