    He said he was unable to read because he never went to school. The fairy took the letter, opened it and handed it to the boy and said "now read it." The boy took the letter and he was able to read it as well as the landlord would. When he went to the land-lord he was able to argue with him and to get a decrease in the rent. He had never to go to school. When he became a man people went to him for legal advice. He drew up marriage agreements for the contracting parties.
