  1. There was a man who lived in Esker called Jonhy Hynes.
    Some years ago he was in in a house in Kilkelly cardplaying and when he was going he had to cross a river.
    On this certain night when he was on his way home, it was about 12.30 and all of a sudden what did he see on the other side of the river but a crowd of fairies dressed in red jackets and green trousers and golden caps.
    He tried to cross the river when there was a little but the fairies stood before him and
