- There were two men one time who lived in a town. One day they were out hunting. In the evening the returned home and they put their horses in a stall for the night. When they were tying them one of them saw apples and nuts in a bag and he told his comrade-panion to watch at the door until he would fill his pockets filled the other man asked him for half of them. THe man with the fruit told him to wait until he would go down as far as the graveyard(s) and then he would divide them with him and the other man agreed and they both walked down to the graveyard. When they were as far as the place appointed they went inside the wall and they(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
