  1. There was once a smith living in the crossroads of Cnocma and he was a great horse-shoer.
    One day a man came to him with a red cap, shining leather leggings, his loading whip in his hand and a horse to be shod. The man only wanted three shoes on the horse.
    "Why not put four shoes on it like every horse"? said the smith"
    "Well three shoes are better said the man.
    The smith put on the shoes on the horse and the man paid him.
    Then the man told him his name.
    "Im Finbarra Meadha and "Sioga Rát Cruatain" will come tomorrow to fight me at twelve o clock. He has a big grey horse and we will fight on horse-back.
