   Bhí bean as Conamara uair ar seirbhís ag fear thios i mbaile an Doirìn dar b’áinm Páraic a Búrc. Bhí sí lá fomhair amu’ a’ ceangal ins a’ ngarraí, agus bhí an lá an-te. Teacht ’trathnóna dhirigh sí í héin agus dhearc sí suas ar a’ ngrian: "Sgéal ort, a ghrian," ar sise, "is máll é do thriall. Nó a’ rabh tusa ariamh ar aimsir?"
