    "He's a right bloody mon" (He is a very good
    man - "right" is always used for "good"
    in this district. "It's a right day" etc.
    "He just now pass on it" (He took
    no notice of it)
    "I didnt put a bit of [___] [___] in
    him" (took no notice of him, no interest in him)
    "It's a quare fine one" (a very funny story)
    "Mind your pumps and dont burn em" (mind
    your boots and dont burn them - at fire)
    "Dont tape the car" (dont stick in
    the ditch)
    "He taped the corner" (He went too close - hit the ditch)
    He was cutting "bushes" : burning "bushes (bushes means furze; other bushes are called sceacs
    "We had great terms at the party" (great fun
    great stories etc)
    "He has great terms" (great jokes. Also [aslo] say "He is a great term")
