    from that day to this, the fish is seen every night about twelve o' Clock sitting in the exact spot whe the man was devoured.
    Near the Quarry there is supposed to be an old burial ground.
    The man that owned the land around tilled this place once, but next morning he found the place as it was before he went to dig it up.
