  1. (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)
The neighbours are sure to give a call
To have some crack with Paddy Jack
    The Hackler from grousehall.
    6.
Tis on pretence of this offence
To drag me off to gaol
Alone to dwell in a cold cell
    My faith to bewail
My hairy head on a planked bed
    Such wrongs for vengeance call
But they will rue the day they dragged away
    The Hackler from Grousehall.

  2. One time there lived a man called Bailie. He lived in the townland of Drumaaslin. He used to go out into a field and tumble the wild-cat and change himself into a hare. Then he would take the butter of the milk belonging to a man named Knay. If he were to churn for ever he would get no butter. Knay had to go to the priest and get back the butter.
