Ar an leathanach seo

  1. A Leperchaun is supposed to be a little dwaft about the size of a man's fist he is supposed to be a cobbler and is to be seent sitting under a mushroom working at his boots. People used to say that he had a purse of gold and they were anxious to cath him bot he was two clever of them once they had took their eyes of him he had disappeared.
    Here is a story about one. A young girl named Biddy Fagan who lived in castle Carbery in the middle of Ireland. One morning as she was going for a bucket of water and what did she see but a leprechaun sitting under a mushroom working at an old boot about the size of a timble. He was singing an old Irish song and never found Biddy till she grasped him by the neck.
    Ah, whats the matter miss Biddy he said what have I done to you so badly. I did not think that a good little girl like you could be so cruel. Now my good fellow said Biddy none of your fine talk but hand me out you money.
    Where would a poor cobbler like me get money No more of your fine talk but hand me out
