- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)and the result is a jelly like substance, in the nature of cornflour. It is eaten with raw milk and a little sugar.
- In use up to about five years ago and very probably in use in some localities at the present time.
Made as follows:- Take potatoes and rasp them finely, while potatoes are raw. With the rasped potatoes mix about an equal quantity of flour making a fairly thick "batter". Spread on pan and bake as thin pancake. - In use at present time.
Take some potatoes, boiled and bruise them mixing with flour, as an ordinary home made cake. Place on pan and bake in usual way, cutting in quarters.*some old people apply "Boxty"to potatoes bread.
