    "Our Lady's " leaf will cure a cut. It is a dark green leaf with a red spot on it. Once Our Lady cut her finger and she plucked a leaf and put it on the wound. A drop of her blood rested on the leaf and ever since that leaf will cure bleeding.
    When the Michaelmus goose is killed the fat is kept in a tightly covered cannister and used on cuts bruises abrasions. The bottom of the fat runs into oil and if rubbed into stiff joints it will make them supple. It will cure rheumatism etc.
    To cure a burn, mix sweet oil with roche lime and rub it on it and it will be cured.
