Thursday is not considered a lucky day to make changes. Friday being chosen to remove into new houses or make any important changes. People do not like to give any money on a Monday as they will spend it all the week if they do. On May day it is not lucky to plough or take milk out of the house. Some years ago no marriages were celebrated during the autumn months there being an old saying, "Whatever would be bound in Harvest would be loosened in Spring."
