James Sullivan nicknamed "Lockright" lived and taught school in "Clunes cabin". The school furniture consisted of forms or planks around by the walls and tables which the children used as desks. This school was in operation up to sixty five years ago. The building which is Moher slated is still in a good state of repair and is used as a barn by John Cluen, Turlaheen, Ennistymon.
