- The name of my native town is Dromcollogher. It is divided into four streets; the Square, North, the Pike, and Church Street. There are about thirty four families living in Church St and the most common name in the street is Gleeson.
The most of the houses are two story, and are mostly all slated.
Dromcolloger got is name from a wood, which was growoing west of the town.
There are about about eight old people living in Church St, and they do not know any Irish.
There were not as many houses in the town in former times as there are at present.
A lot of people emigrated from Dromcollogher to America and England during the last few years.
Dromcollogher is not famous but still mentioned in a(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
