    There is only one forge now in the parish of Dromcollogher. There were formerly tow, but one has fallen into disuse. The one at present is owned by John O'Dell.
    The other one is owned by the Sullivans's and their families were smiths for generations past, but they have all died out.
    The forges are both situated by the public road
