  1. Nearly all the field in this district have names.
    There is a field the property of Mr O'Sullivan, and it is known as "Páirc na h-altóir" because there were masses said there long ago in the penal days.
    The altar was there until about twenty years ago but it is now knocked.
    There are also many other fields having Irish names, belonging to Mr O'Sullivan.
    There are no rocks in the district but there is one stream, and it is called Átha Marghadh.
    There is a field in Dromanig called "Páirc an Carraig" because there are a lot of rocks, and stones in it.
