  1. There are a good many weather signs. The weather glass is the most reliable.
    If the sun glitters in the morning after rising it is the sign of rain, but if it sets bright and clear, it is the sign that the following day will be fine. A red sunset denotes wind or frost in the Winter.
    If a ring is showing around the moon, it denotes wet weather, for the duration of that moon.
    Much twinkling of the stars at night denotes rain.
    The wind from the South and West brings more rain to the locality than from the North and East.
