  1. A lot of fairs are held in this district the nearest one to us is held in Drumcollogher. A fair is a great way to sell or buy any cattle because a large number of people attend there. A fair was never held in Feenagh or Kilmeedy because they are only villages and are too small.
    In some places the fair is held in a field called the fair field, but in Drumcollogher it is carried on in the square. After the fair is over boys from the town sweep the place.
