  1. There is a fort in Mrs Irwin's land here in the Village of Feenagh.
    Once upon a time Mr Irwin thought to dig it, but he was afraid, for it was said that the first person that would dig a fort, on that person the misfortune would fall. A priest that lived in the district at that time, heard them saying that, and he was only laughing at the idea. So he said he would dig the fort. So one day he did and when he put his left leg in the shovel, he got a pain in his leg and he was not able to dig any more of it. After a few days his leg withered. After that they dug
